Before you get offended I’ve ended up going down a bit a #Herzberg Hygiene/Motivator rabbit hole…
A good example is Amazon - they are a dominant force (for good or bad) because they get the basics of their industry right, but if something is delivered late it's a bally outrage - they've shifted what the industry demotivators are.
It's the same with internal comms - if you haven't got the basics right the engagement that you're trying to find will battle against the demotivators.
So once in a while check your hygiene :-)
